lil miss missy
This is June. She's been surfing the net for two years. So get used to it 'cause she's going to be doing it some more. She's planning on role-playing Rosalie Hale, so here comes a smokin' hot app !
seeing is believing
Name: Rosalie Lillian Hale
Gender: Female
Age: 103
Species: Vampire
Special Ability: N/A
Coven or Pack: the Cullen clan.
Celeb Claim: the lovely Nikki Reed
rock n' roll
Appearance:
Rosalie is described as being one of the most beautiful creatures alive. She stands at 5'9" and has a figure that most supermodels would sell their souls for. Rose's hair has not changed the slightest since her transformation in 1933: golden blonde, wavy and so long that it reaches the middle of her back.
Like all other vampires in her family, Rose has skin so pale it looks chalky and eyes that change from a burning butterscotch to dead black. When Rose is more thirsty than satisfied, her eyes are accompanied by dark purple shadows, almost like bruises.
Rose dresses in high fashion clothes that are tailored to fit her form perfectly. Although, like the other women in her family, she rarely wears the same outfit twice.
Personality:
Rose is stubborn and hot-headed. Her opinions about things are very steadfast and she'll argue until nightfall if she has to. In fact, she won't give up until the other person agrees with her, she's physically dragged away, or if someone - say Carlisle or Esme - convince her that she's wrong. Of all her family members, she perhaps respects her parents the most.
She is particularly vain, knowing that she is more beautiful than most and isn't afraid of letting others know it. It's her 'thing', while her husband prides himself for being strong, her brother fast and her father peaceful, Rose is the most beautiful. Because of this, she enjoys being the centre of attention and can get jealous when things aren't quite the way she likes it.
Behind this hard exterior, Rosalie is a loving person. She has always and will always wish for a family of her own, for the ability to have children and to grow old with her husband. She is loyal to her family and shows the most affection to her husband, Emmett, and her niece, Renesmee.
Likes:
- Emmett - because they were made for each other
- Renesmee - because she acts as a sort of replacement for Rosalie's own lack of children
- cars - she prides herself at being the best mechanic of the family
- her beauty - something that makes her better than most, something that she's carried from her humanity
- winning arguments - well, who doesn't? Rosalie just that extra tenacious that she'll go to certain lengths to win
Dislikes:
- werewovles - they stink, enough said
- Jacob - not only does he stink, but he spends more time with her beloved Nessie than her should
- humans - because they have so many opportunities that she doesn't
- Royce King Junior - forever even in his death
- the smell of roses - because Royce sent them to her during their courtship and now the smell of them reminds her of him
Strengths:
- she's beautiful - more beautiful than everyone else, and that's always an advantage
- protective of her family - she gets rather aggressive when people threaten or attack the Cullens, especially Emmett and Renesmee
- cars - like I said, Rose is the best car mechanic (except for, perhaps, Jacob) in the family
Weaknesses:
- she's self-absorbed - sometimes it takes her a little while to realize that she's not the only one affected by things
- she gets jealous easily - just because she's that vain, ya know?
- stubborn - tenacious, steadfast, pig-headed, whatever you want to call it, Rosalie has it in spades
History:
Rosalie Lillian Hale was born in a comfortable, middle class family in the year 1915. As a human, she lived a very luxurious, spoiled life. She was content with herself, a beautiful, wealthy girl with the possibility to achieve what she always wanted: to start a family. When Rosalie was eighteen, it seemed this goal was already in her possession. She met a young, rich man by the name of Royce King Junior. Her future fiancé, who was rather handsome, was the son of her father’s boss. Their courtship lasted only a couple of months before he proposed, and she eagerly accepted.
It wasn’t until she visited her best friend, Vera, during the winter of 1933, that Rosalie realized just how empty her relationship with Royce was. Vera’s husband loved her dearly, and his adoration of her showed through when Rose visited. The eighteen year old found that her fiancé only kissed her when he knew people were watching; he paraded her around like a grand prize. And while Rosalie did not mind this, she longed for more. It was the first time in her life that she realized she didn’t have exactly what she wanted. During that visit, Rosalie met Vera’s son, Henry. The boy was less than a year old and absolutely darling! An adorable smile, dimples and dark curly hair. Rosalie knew that this was what she wanted: a loving husband and pretty babies just like Vera’s Henry.
The beautiful girl contemplated all this as she walked the short walk home. Unease settled within her as she realized just how late it was, and wondered if calling her father wasn’t such a ridiculous request. Just as she rounded a corner, Rosalie heard the loud, drunken laughter of a familiar voice. She saw him immediately despite the broken streetlamp. It was Royce King Junior, her rich fiancé. And then she found that he was not alone, but with a few of his friends, the sons of other rich men.
It was a night she would never forget. The drunken men left her bleeding; they left her for dead. And she would have been, if it weren’t for Dr Carlisle Cullen. He was intrigued by the smell of spilled blood, and when he saw that it was Rosalie Hale, he acted immediately. She feared he would torture her further, but when that endless burning started, she knew he had taken her away to do much worse than her ‘fiancé’ could ever dream of.
She screamed and cried for death. When the pain subsided, only three days later, the doctor, his wife, Esme, and her 'brother', Edward, explained it all to her. What she had become, what they were. As soon as the shock wore off, Rosalie went out and hunted down the five men who wronged her. She left Royce for last, torturing him slowly with her red eyes and mocking wedding dress. She had only ever killed seven human beings (the five attackers, and Royce’s two bodyguards), but never tasted their blood – a point she makes proudly.
Two years later, Rosalie joined the Cullen family as they moved to the mountains of Tennessee. During a regulation hunt, she spotted a human in the woods. He was close to dead, having been mauled by a large, dark bear. Enchanted by his dark curls and deep dimples, Rosalie fought off the bear and carried the man one hundred miles to Carlisle. Her father changed him and when the man awoke, the Cullen family found his name to be Emmett McCarty. Emmett and Rosalie fell in love and have been such for the past ninety-odd years.
In the year 1936, Rosalie and the rest of the Cullen family moved to Hoquiam, a small town in Washington. There they found a strange, shape shifting tribe who had been sworn to protect their lands from creatures such as the Cullens. But Carlisle and the tribe chief struck up a treaty and for a while, they lived relatively peacefully.
Before the Cullen clan expanded (with the addition of a Jasper Whitlock and Alice Brandon) and moved to Forks, Emmett and Rosalie married several times. They stuck with the Cullen family, though sometimes lived separate from them as a young, married couple. When the family did move to Forks, Rosalie and Emmett pretended to be dating teenagers, the adopted children of Carlisle and Esme. All when well, everything to plan, until Edward met his future wife, Bella.
With hardships up with wazoo, their impossible relationship ended in a beautiful wedding and an even more beautiful baby girl. Rosalie took to Renesmee immediately and stuck to her like glue. Now, ten years later, Rose is still protective of her little niece, has bonded more with Bella, is still in love with Emmett, respects but bickers with Edward and the rest of the family has gone mostly unchanged.

Role-play Example:
Rosalie moved through the line at a snail's pace, frustration ripping through her at the speed of the freshmen standing in front of her. God, couldn't they move any faster? Rose knew that she wasn't getting any older, but they must have begun to gray already. Just as she reached the end of the line, with a salad bowl, a plate of steaming lasagna and a small packet of crisps on her tray, Rosalie reached into her jacket pocket for her wallet. But before the cafeteria worker to ring up her lunch, a piercing shriek filled the mess hall.
'FIGHT!'
'Oh geez,' the middle aged woman serving her muttered under her breath, her hand jolting from the sudden noise. The worker bumped the tray and Rosalie caught it before any of the lasagna sauce could slop from its plate. About eighty percent of the cafeteria ran outside, their lunches left behind and forgotten.
Rosalie frowned, annoyed at the immaturity of Forks High students. There were more serious things in the world to be fighting over.
'Oh wow, they're really going at it,' a Junior whispered to her friend, peering out the window. Rose rolled her eyes pointedly at the cafeteria worker and paid for her lunch. A fight between two humans at Fork High meant nothing to her, but the next comment threw Rosalie off.
'Oh man, that Hale kid is out there. And he looks like he's about to kill.'
Rosalie clenched her teeth together and stiffened. Her peripheral vision betrayed the two gossipers glancing at her, wondering whether the stunning blond was aware that her 'twin brother' was about to pummel some kid. But that wasn't exactly what was running through Rose's head. What she was worried about was Jasper losing control. If one of the kids outside was hit in the nose or jaw and spilled blood, how would her 'twin brother' fare? If he lost control in front of all those idiots outside the entire family would be royally screwed.
Rose placed her tray sharply on the nearest surface, a full table of freshmen who were too afraid to go and see the fight. Four of the kids jumped at the sudden movement but Rosalie was out the door before any of them could react further.
"Jasper?" Rosalie hissed in warning. The fighting was getting worse, as was the rain. Where was the rest of her family? Alice must have seen this, and Edward must have heard it in every student's mind. And Emmett would never miss a chance to see violence and destruction, even if he couldn't get involved. Rose was worried that she wouldn't be able to stop Jasper by herself. Was she strong enough to pull Jasper away on her own if he went into a frenzy?
